Chapter 001: The male wife was not favored
Pei Cheng was desperately looking forward to the appearance of his so-called husband until the last second before his death. But, the one that arrived was his little child.
The little boy he risked his life to give birth to had never called him ‘Dad’, and he had never taken a look at him.
But, at the moment when Pei Cheng’s life was threatened, the little boy rushed out and stood in front of Pei Cheng.
Pei Cheng could swear that he had never regretted that much.
He once regretted being born in the Pei family, regretted marrying into the Jiang family, and regretted giving birth to the little boy, but those regrets were never strong like the one at this moment. His little boy, from toddler to start learning words, from a thin and skinny baby to becoming a gloomy little boy, all of his changes, he had never watched those changes with his own eyes.

Amidst the cold wind, Pei Cheng, leaning against the door, looked at the little boy who was being held in a servant girl’s arms from not far away. His heart was complicated.

Originally, the little boy only had a cold expression, and after hearing Pei Cheng’s words, his face turned black instantly.
The servant girl was in a hurry and quickly explained: “This is Young Master YanZhi. Young Master Pei, it couldn’t be that you forgot him?”

Pei Cheng frowned, but waved his hand and let the servant girl take the little boy away.

Pei Cheng’s good mood didn’t last long, because he still hadn’t walked into the side courtyard, he heard the conversation from inside of the house.
The young servant girl said disdainfully: “Pei Cheng couldn’t even recognize the child he gave birth to. It seems that next time I bring another child to him, he probably couldn’t recognize that his child was substituted!”
The wet nurse clicked her tongue and said: “Let me say, even if that man can give birth, he is still inferior to a woman. Look at him. He gave birth to a baby boy to the Jings, but still couldn’t enter the main house.”
